About the role

We are looking for a Technical Writer to develop and maintain our internal and external knowledge base for our customers and team. With the rest of the Customer Success, Support, Product, Design & Marketing teams, you will help us create written content for our Help Centre and video tutorials for our YouTube Channel.

Our Help Centre should be designed and developed to allow our customers to successfully adopt and implement our software, and use our features in the best way to meet their business needs.

The tasks you’ll be responsible for are:

  • Fully understanding Veeqo’s product and strategy
  • Defining the knowledge management strategy and maintaining high-quality, up-to-date, and searchable content for audiences of varying skill levels.
  • Analysing our data and working with the customer facing teams to understand user pain points and areas of best value add.
  • Work with various departments to create internal articles.
  • Support feature releases with content and messaging to give users a good understanding of how they can utilise.
  • Work with our product team to product simple and effective user interface text
  • Create a technical writing style guide alongside our Design and Marketing teams.
  • Audit our existing content for accessibility, and help us update content to be more accessible to our readers.


About you

Our ideal candidate is someone who enjoys educating others and collaborating with the wider organisation, with a true passion for creative roles. They are an effective communicator and a meticulous wordsmith, and have proven experience in translating complex technical concepts into easy to digest material. They are curious in understanding our product and developing unique strategies for engaging and enabling our users. They also have experience using design tools to ensure content is visually appealing and consistent.

  • Demonstrable experience creating effective content for software or apps
  • Creative with the ability to create engaging content
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to translate complex technical concepts into easy to understand information
  • Customer focus with strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Project management skills - you set goals and develop achievable timelines to hit them.
  • Relevant experience with support software (we use Intercom) preferred

The salary banding for this role is 50-60k USD depending on experience.
