Job description 💼
- We are looking for an agile-minded Senior Frontend developer
- You will be creating and maintaining central features across our global website and contributing to and working alongside an established development team
- Collaborate and communicate with design & Product teams, to understand user experience
What do we expect from you 👩💻
Required
- Strong commercial experience in the web stack: ReactJS, HTML, CSS and JavaScript
- 4+ years professional experience in large-scale front-end software development
- Undergraduate degree in Computer Science or related discipline; or equivalent experience
- Knowledge of how webpack, babel and front-end tooling works
- Unit and functional testing
- Git and ideally GitHub experience
- Strong sense of code quality and doing things right
- Solid understanding of scalability and user experience
- An appetite for learning and trying new technologies
- Excellent communication skills
- Self-motivated with excellent time management
- Not afraid to show off your creative side
Nice to haves (not required)
- Experience in working with Ruby on Rails
- Experience in an agile software development methodology
- Experience using Jest
- Experience writing tests using react-testing-library
- Experience working with TypeScript
- Experience working within the ecommerce space
- Experience working with MobX, Storybook, styled-components
- Experience building UI component libraries based on design systems
- Experience working with react-router, NextJS and other react ecosystem libs
- An understanding of the order fulfilment process for online retailers
